intoCareers is an outreach unit of the University of Oregon, College of Education. Our mission helps the College of Education fulfill its mission: Making Educational and Social Systems Work for All.

intoCareers develops information and software that help people make informed career choices and supports organizations that use and add value to its products.

CIS Components are used in 21 localized career information delivery systems. These systems are sponsored by a variety of state agencies and serve millions of people annually. intoCareers also offers a version of CIS that is available nationwide.

CIS promotes lifelong learning and includes assessment, career and college planning and financial aid resources. It is appropriate for middle schools, high schools, post-secondary institutions, as well as for agencies serving adult populations, such as employment offices, vocational rehabilitation programs and correctional facilities.

CIS is updated and enhanced year round. To use CIS, an institution or agency must purchase a site license. This license provides one year of unlimited use of the system.
